I am a qualified driving instructor and hold a Certificate IV in Transport and Logistics TL141218 (Road transport – car driving instruction). I also hold a Blue Card (working with children).

Along with being a mother, blessed with three now grown children who I had the pleasure of driving with at the learning stage. I enjoy coaching new drivers and young people the skills to drive, sharing my own driving experiences as well as safe and defensive driving habits using good hazard perception. I realised my passion for teaching when I started mentor driving with PCYC Queensland in their ‘Braking the Cycle’ program.

Having careers involving a broad range of experiences in addition to my driving, I have worked in medical administration and hold an Advanced First Aid Certificate, Advanced Resuscitation and pride myself on helping and caring about people and generally being personable to everyone I meet and/or work with every day.

I am focused and as determined as you are for you to obtain your drivers licence and your freedom. I cannot wait to guide you on your journey as you learn the skills required to drive safe on our roads right up to that big day and that proud moment when you obtain your Ps.

I won’t just teach you to drive, but to be road-ready and have a sympathetic view to other road users. During lessons we discuss the values of patience and empathy of other road users including cars, motorcycles, trucks, pedestrians and cyclists. These are important values not just for driving, but for life in general.
